O’ the vagabond lifestyle. Just like the hobos of yesteryear. I could have warmed up a can of beans over a fire for breakfast but there was a Starbucks nearby so I went there instead.
Yesterday, Monday day 3, I traveled from my mom’s house to Boise. I decided to follow a nostalgic route over Tollgate and the Blue Mountains to Elgin, La Grande, Baker City, Ontario and then to a KOA in Boise. The trip over the Blue Mountains brought back a lot of memories. When I was younger this was a frequent Saturday afternoon outing. I was tempted to stop and look for mushrooms (Snow Kings) at Langdon lake, the conditions were right, but I chose to continue on.
I didn’t take many pictures, but here are a few.
